On first hand, you will be actively involved in the transition from the AP accounting process to a global shared service center.

You will need to communicate with the Shared Service Center regularly and understand the approval flow. This is to make sure that automated assigned accounts and cost centers are properly checked and approved.

Next to that, you will be actively seeking opportunities for process improvements and creating new ways of working.

Your role will evolve into a more analytical controlling role where you will be knowledgeable about the costs and performing variance analysis.

Furthermore, you will be assisting with tasks like reporting, creating financial statements or balance reconciliation. 

Our customer is active in more than 40 countries and is providing legal solutions to businesses worldwide. Their global presence allows them to offer localized expertise with a global perspective.

You will be joining their local finance department that is currently going to trough a transition phase.

You will be part of a small team of finance professionals, each with their own expertise, and report to the Head of Finance.

• You have at least 1 years of experience in a finance /accountancy position
• You have a degree in an economic or financial field 
• You are well acquainted with the basics of VAT regulations
• You are pro-active, analytical and attention to detail
• You are IT savvy and open for new technology 
• You are team player who likes to support your colleagues 
• Multitasking and meeting deadlines are no strangers to you
• You speak English fluently and French or Dutch is your mother tongue
